Movemeon’s pro bono initiative first started as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and was titled, ‘Consultants Against COVID-19‘. Launched by Jack Fitch and Clare Tsangari, the goal was to support as many organisations as possible who’ve been affected by or fighting the impact of COVID-19.

Within days, 300 consultants/professionals had volunteered their expertise and joined the pool. Since then, the initiative has grown to include over 450 professionals who’ve provided their services for free to over 30 public health organisations, charities and government at the national level. The total savings in services to these organisations has now hit over £1m.

2020 and beyond

As the impact of COVID-19 will be felt for the foreseeable future, and due to the amazing response to the initiative, we’ve decided to broaden its reach, continuing to run the service as a permanent offering under the new title, Movemeon’s Pro Bono Professionals.

Movemeon now helps professionals find rewarding opportunities to share their skills with charities, NGOs, non-profits and more.

Whether your background is in strategy, finance, consulting, IT, or other areas, there are countless organisations that could benefit from your skills.

If you would like to receive an email bi-weekly with a selection of some of the most rewarding new opportunities, sign up to our Pro Bono Professionals newsletter here.
