EXPLORE-AI is a technology business that builds AI solutions for large Utility players.
We’re a fast-growing tech scale-up comprising 100+ people based in South Africa, the UK and India, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Software Engineers and other tech leaders. We believe that by leveraging the wealth of data possessed by large Utilities, AI, cloud and technology, we can fundamentally improve the way we deliver scarce public utilities to customers around the world. In fact, one of the solutions we helped build there was recently shortlisted for the Top AI Application in the UK.
We’ve built over 10 production-grade AI Solutions that are being used by large Utility providers. These solutions have fundamentally changed the way our customers run their operations. To do this we configure small, cross-functional teams that run in agile Sprints to deliver value to the customer.

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly talented, highly effective, highly awesome person to build out Digital Strategies and delivery roadmaps for our clients. You will likely have:
- 12-18 months on experience from a top-tier consultancy
- Strong entrepreneurial instincts
- Experience in product ownership / management – this can be either through consulting or more direct experience
- A passion for digital transformation, the Utility sector and technology
- A proven track record building strategy and designing products and services in the UK Utilities sector is not essential, but would be ideal
Salary: On experience
Location: This role can be based anywhere in the EMEA region, but the majority of the team is based South Africa.
