An in-depth description of the role
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 16 weeks with potential for continuation (and other projects working with Class35 in the future)
Day rate: ~£300-350pd (Associate role) ~£450-500pd (Manager role – please see other movemeon job post)
Location: primarily based in Central London with some travel to Luton for workshops with client
Key requirement: strong generalist consulting toolkit and ideally some operating model and/or organisation design experience (ideal but not required)

We are a rapidly growing, startup consulting firm focused on digital transformation. Having launched in January 2018, we now have 40 active consultants at any one time and are growing at 250% YoY, with plans to open internationally in the near future. We believe the future of consulting is freelance, and our model is underpinned by our strong network of the best freelance design, strategy, and digital talent in London. Should this project prove successful, we envisage further projects in the future.
Our partner team is a group of experienced leaders who have worked at the intersection of design agencies and strategy consultancies and left to form a more coherent client offer in digital transformation.

Our client is a leading, private equity-owned property company in the UK. The client has recently approved investment in a whole-business digital transformation, involving a greenfield re-build of it’s technology, digital experience and operating model, MVP launch and migration of the legacy business.
A central part of this will be transitioning their legacy organisation onto their future platform and operating model. Working with another freelance consultant and a Class35 partner, the key elements of the role will include:
- Defining the future-state operating model and organisation design
- Working with directors from across the organisation to validate future
- Determining implications and role/responsibility and structural changes from today
- Defining the transition model from today’s organisation to drive change management
- The role will have a high level of senior stakeholder engagement, with a huge potential impact on the business.
We’re looking for 2 ex-strategy consultants to define out the future-state operating model and high-level organisation design. We are looking for 1 more junior person (likely ~2-4 years experience) and 1 more senior person (likely ~4-8 years experience) – please see our other job post on movemeon for a more senior application. Requirements:
- Top-tier strategy consultancy training
- Snr Analyst / Associate level
- Strong generalist consulting skillset
- Experience in operating model and/or organisation design is preferred but not essential
- Experience in large-scale digital transformation is preferred but not essential
- English is the only required language
- Day rate in the £300-350 range (16 weeks work; possible extension; future projects likely)
