Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Insight, the Commercial Insight Consultant will have the opportunity to help us to continue to grow and revolutionise the industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Join agile team to deliver a significant, high-impact business programme. The team is delivering a critical component of a business transformation.
  • Co-located with the rest of the agile team to deliver this 18-month programme in an innovative manner with aggressive KPIs related to churn, margin growth, NPS growth and cost.
  • The role is an individual contributor who will have the opportunity to interact daily at HOD and Director level.
  • Use/build commercial models to analyse each stage of the programme.
  • Build a hypotheses based on analysis, design tests where appropriate and recommend future approach and action based on balance of impacts

Requirements

  • 2+ years management consulting experience (McKinsey, BCG and Bain preferred)
  • Experience of partnering with businesses going through essential change, ideally in the telco sector
  • Superior commercial analysis (on relatively large datasets), insight extraction and data visualisation skills are essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills – high volumes of analysis on margin, churn, costs, NPS, etc.
  • Intermediate Tableau (or other data visualisation software) skills – can use new data visualisation capabilities to bring complex concepts to life
  • Advanced Powerpoint skills – can build presentations fit for C-suite consumption that communicate insights and recommendations
  • Ability to grasp and apply new concepts quickly
  • Ability to collaborate with focused team, working especially closely with data scientists and channels
  • Ability to build and iterate complex models
