Day Rate: £200-£250p/d – This opportunity is at significantly discounted rates to make this affordable to our client and support their % of donations spent on charitable activities.

We are seeking an experienced Associate or Manager to join our new and in-demand niche consultancy. Our small team works exclusively with top-tier national and global charities and exclusively on opportunities with the potential to transform our clients’ organisations and their industries. Our work to date has included corporate strategy, fundraising strategy, governance, market entry and due-diligence.

The Project

Our latest opportunity is to lead the commercialisation of an exciting new fundraising vehicle that could transform our client’s organisation and the industry. This role steps beyond advisory and would suit someone with consultancy skills and an entrepreneurial bent. The role would involve:

1. Leading evolution and delivery of the concept

  • Understanding the strategic relevance of the project
  • Lead analysis of the key value drivers involved
  • Lead decision making on the evolution of the concept
  • Lead rapid market testing
  • Manage the project team

2. Create and ready an expansion option

  • Lead relationship managers in establishing options for rapid expansion with key partners, suppliers and staffing pools
  • Work with Finance to establish options for raising Finance
  • Lead competitor analysis
  • Lead preparation of a business case for expansion

Candidate Profile

The person we are looking for will be:

  • An experienced associate or manager (3-8 years consulting experience)
  • Personal interest in charity and desire to contribute to the cause
  • Willing to roll-up your sleeves by leading, managing and coaching the team to delivery – not just advising
  • Have strong influencing skills and be adept and learning and navigating organisational culture
  • Consumer marketing and/or charity experience is an advantage
