Commercial Due Diligence & Strategy Consultant

About the role

We currently have an European transformation team led by an ex McKinsey principal and ex-Bain Cap with a team below him of 3 ex-McKinsey and Bain managers. You will be reporting to an ex Bain manager and work closely together with the M&A Director.

Job requirements

  • 3-5 years’ consulting experience at a top tier firm
  • Some experience working on commercial due diligence
  • Experience in aerospace supply chain would be preferred

Project length: 2-3 weeks

Location: London with travel to Wolverhampton twice for 2 days

Day rate: £550-£750 a day plus expenses

The Company

It was created from the merger of IPH with Brammer in 2017, following the acquisition of Brammer by Advent International. The newly merged business had combined sales of €2.3bn in 2017 and is a leader distributor in bearings and power transmission, tools, general maintenance, assembly, machining and personal protective equipment.

The Team and role

We currently have an European transformation team led by an ex McKinsey principal and ex-Bain Cap with a team below him of 3 ex-McKinsey and Bain managers. You will be reporting to an ex Bain manager and work closely together with the M&A Director. We need someone with a strong consulting toolkit to help with some data finding for a commercial due diligence to answer some specific questions. We want to understand the customer base and be more comfortable with the numbers before completing an acquisition.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ consulting experience at a top tier firm
  • Some experience working on commercial due diligence
  • Experience in aerospace supply chain would be preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical toolkit
  • The ability to make a tight, clean deck for presentation of findings
