About The Centre for Public Impact

CPI is a global not-for-profit foundation which provides a forum for governments and their partners to help turn ideas into impact.

We bring together world leaders to learn, exchange ideas and inspire each other to strengthen the public impact of their organisations. Sharing insights from around the world, our global forums highlight what has worked and where challenges require new approaches.

CPI’s work is overseen by a Board of Trustees co-chaired by Sir Michael Barber, the former head of the UK Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit, and Larry Kamener, former global leader of The Boston Consulting Group’s Public Sector practice.

The Project

CPI will support a leading UK charity by contributing to a wider research report related to tech innovation in cities. CPI will lead the development of an economic and social feasibility study as well as wider systems level assessment.

As part of this project, you will need to assess the wider impact of a new technological application to urban infrastructures, including the implications for it, and carefully evaluate the impact this will have on citizens. The project is highly collaborative and you will work closely with the client team on-site. The research will be overseen by CPI staff who will also support the management of the client relationship.

Our Requirements

  • Two years of experience at a top consulting firm.
  • Previous experience of working with public sector clients or on social impact projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skill set.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
