Manager, Global Operations

They partnered with movemeon to search for an experienced Manager whose role would be critical in delivering on their hugely ambitious plans over the next few years. The successful movemeon member previously worked as a manager at KPMG and studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science

About the role

  • Working with the Director, Global Operations to prioritize strategic direction of the business, identify issues and opportunities and implement new initiatives
  • Defining and building the core business processes to allow for scalability and consistently great customer service
  • Working with the local management teams to help drive high performance and delivery against our business targets

The role

Reporting directly to the Director, Global Operations, this role will be critical in delivering on our hugely ambitious plans over the next few years. It is a great opportunity to take on operational and commercial responsibilities in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibility

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Director, Global Operations to prioritize strategic direction of the business, identify issues and opportunities and implement new initiatives
  • Defining and building the core business processes to allow for scalability and consistently great customer service
  • Working with the local management teams to help drive high performance and delivery against our business targets
  • Working closely with our commercial team on assessing and creating new business initiatives and launches in new markets
  • Successfully manage multiple, simultaneous projects with different teams, partners, objectives, resources, and constraints(!)

Requirements

You must have:

  • Over 3 years’ experience in either operations/transformation or working for a consulting business
  • Experience in using technology to deliver great solutions for customers
  • Strong leadership abilities: Ability to influence and motivate a global organization and manage a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Passionate interest in using innovation to fuel financial inclusion – by disrupting the global insurance and health industries
  • Experience ideally in a startup or dynamic operational environment where you were happy to problem solve and devise solutions on the go
  • Program management experience i.e. experience of running multiple projects simultaneously would be highly advantageous
  • A love of travel…
