About the role

The project’s objective is to review processes across the business, identify where improvements could be made, and implement recommendations.

The initial diagnostic phase will include understanding the business processes to date. This will be developed through interviews, and work shadowing.  After the main processes have been mapped out, the consultant will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement and prioritizing these against criteria agreed up-front.

The Consultant will be responsible for developing a transformation plan. This will not only involve what changes need to occur but will also look at how Lansec can continue to identify and make these operational improvements going forward. It will likely involve identifying process improvement champions, and training them with the relevant methodologies.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Agile working
  • Ability to work with Senior Stakeholders across an organization
  • Experience in completing similar operational improvement studies before

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a consultant at the Manager level, who has experience in operational improvement. They will exhibit:

  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Agile working
  • Ability to work with Senior Stakeholders across an organization
  • Experience in completing similar operational improvement studies before
  • Likely 5-7 years’ experience
  • Ideally, experience in training others in Lean or equivalent
