They advertised on movemeon for a Operations Manager role. The successful mmo member previously worked at Mckinsey as a Business Analyst for 2 years before moving to Bain & Co.

About the  role

  • Design and implement optimisation plans (e.g. A/B and multivariate tests), developing and implementing robust recommendations to support trading, marketing and operation teams. –
  • Improve the businesses understanding of customer journeys through tracking key site metrics such as traffic sources, bounce rates and user sessions.
  • Work with founders and advisors to implement a comprehensive acquisition strategy across SEO, paid search, email, affiliates, content and social media
  • Test and refine SEM strategy, through daily management of PPC channels and internal SEO campaigns working with freelancers where needed
  • Compile digital KPIs across marketing channels.
  • Generate and deliver against actionable insights.

Job requirements

  • Likely 2-4 years of professional experience eg. as a Consultant or Ecommerce background
  • Ideally some B2C, online and/or retail experience
  • Keen to get stuck in and join a fantastic team and make a big difference to a growing business.
  • Strong analytical skills, and firm grasp of analytical software (Google Analytics)
  • Diverse online marketing background, especially relating to PPC, SEO and email. Google Adwords professional qualification or similar a plus
  • Experience with content-led marketing initiatives and online content distribution and syndication.

About the role

Expected career progression: Chief Marketing Officer over mid-term

The Digital Marketing Manager will work with the founders to execute all customer acquisition and retention initiatives. They will also be responsible for measuring and reporting KPIs across the business. The role will focus on top line growth, driving repeat visits to the website, and converting visitors into long-term customers of Rise Art. We’re looking for a highly talented candidate with an analytical mind-set and knowledge of e-commerce to build our acquisition channels. The right candidate will have an exceptional academic background and experience in online marketing across acquisition channels. They will be eager to validate and refine our marketing assumptions, with the passion, drive and ambition to build and lead our marketing team as the business grows.

Responsibilities

  • Work with founders and advisors to implement a comprehensive acquisition strategy across SEO, paid search, email, affiliates, content and social media
  • Test and refine SEM strategy, through daily management of PPC channels and internal SEO campaigns working with freelancers where needed
  • Compile digital KPIs across marketing channels. Generate and deliver against actionable insights
  • Work with CTO to identify areas of the site which can be improved to increase conversions, effectiveness of marketing initiatives
  • Define and implement content marketing strategy, working with partners and affiliates to distribute content to the right audiences
  • Manage Editorial Team and identify content requirements which aid marketing efforts and increase retention
  • Execute direct marketing campaigns across online and offline channels

Experience

  • University Degree and strong academic background
  • Strong analytical skills, and firm grasp of analytical software (Google Analytics)
  • Diverse online marketing background, especially relating to PPC, SEO and email. Google Adwords professional qualification or similar a plus
  • Experience with content-led marketing initiatives and online content distribution and syndication
  • Solid understanding of current online marketing concepts and best practice
  • Previous experience of AB/multi-variant testing (on-site and ad copy)
  • Motivated self-starter – must be eager to learn and driven to expand the digital marketing team
  • Experience managing Social Media marketing campaigns and affiliate programs
  • Tech Savvy – impress us with your online and computer skills
