CrowdProperty (CrowdProperty.com) provides the opportunity for property professionals to borrow directly from individuals on a project by project basis. The company, in the five years since formation, is already operating profitably and has a register of over 6500 potential lenders and 1400 potential borrowers.

Many property developers and professionals in the UK are not getting the money they need to make profitable property projects happen. Most people are not getting as much interest as they would like from their investments.

The answer is simple. Give people a potentially better return on their money by allowing them to directly lend it to property developers and professionals looking for funding. That’s why CrowdProperty exists. Technology, and an alternative and innovative approach to finance, are driving significant changes to the way property development projects are funded.

Before pledging money to a project, CrowdProperty aims to make their clients feel completely comfortable with how the platform works and understand why they are in a position to give their investors opportunity to make money work harder for them. We are building a powerful trusted brand. The company is fully authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The team has a wealth of experience across numerous business functions and a strong track record of success. We are now looking to scale rapidly, having proven the model, and are looking for talented and passionate people to join our journey.

The role

Working with the co-founding CEO (ex-strategy consultant, London Business School MBA), this role will focus on relentlessly improving the business in terms of user experience, product development, process improvement and automation. There is always a huge to-do list in such an ambitious start-up, prioritisation, and management of which are key aspects, which this role will support.

In a market growing at 80%+ per year, keeping on top of how the market and competition are evolving is vital and it is expected that this role will own that intelligence and the implications thereof.

Additionally, this role will support the CEO in key strategic activities such as:

  • Financial modelling
  • Business planning
  • Fundraising
  • Bespoke analysis
  • External presentations

Inevitably there will be value-adding activity beyond the above, a flexible and proactive individual will be a popular candidate. The role will allow you to work with individuals across the company in a dynamic and well-funded financial services startup. The organisation is a small (though rapidly growing), nimble, non-bureaucratic and very flat in structure.

Requirements

We believe you’ll probably have:

  • Intellectually strong
