The Role
Following the successful acquisition of the company, a large carveout program has started progressing towards full separation. As a part of the carveout, there are specific PMOs for efficiency, growth and separation.
We are looking for a PMO Lead to come on board and drive the program forward. We currently work with a CTO and existing PMO Managers dedicated to different workstreams. There is also a top-tier consulting firm team working on the project. The firm’s involvement is coming to an end, hence the need for the PMO resources to join.
Responsibilities
- Working with the CTO and existing PMO managers to ensure the overall carveout is moving forward
- Setting up of tracking and reporting processes, particularly on the IT side
- A degree of exit planning, specifically around co-ownership service agreements
- Ensuring risk management procedures are in place
- Ensuring the implementation of the organisational design strategy is successful
What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced ex-consultant to join the project. Aside from the basic consulting toolkit, we are specifically looking for:
- Likely 4+ years of experience working in project/program management roles within a consultancy (ideally Big 4 or Accenture and other leading firms; OC&C, Oliver Wyman, MBB, LEK, Kearny).
- Strong experience of PMO and transformation projects, ideally with some experience of IT transformation
- Strong financial skills and analysis know-how
- Experience working in consumer goods is a plus but not essential
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills
