About the role:

The Team:

The Business Development team is the commercial driver of the business with two major areas of responsibility; developing and maintaining relationships with our business customers and creating and optimising the business models that drive the monetisation of our traffic. This role is as a product owner within our business development team, running one of our product areas. It would suit a very capable graduate with between two and four years’ experience.

This role is integral to the business. The right candidate will rapidly take full responsibility for a product. They will own the strategic roadmap for the product and be accountable for its delivery. They will need to continue to develop and grow the relationship with our external partners and work with them to innovate and enhance the consumer offering. They will work with all areas of the business – development, compliance, creative/comms and marketing teams to leverage their expertise to maximum effect. They’ll take responsibility for the P&L of the product and to ensure it always operates in a compliant fashion.

Day-to-day operation will include:

  • Product innovation – leading the testing of new journeys, u/x enhancements and optimisations as well as process improvements
  • Regular competitor reviews and new client research

The Candidate:

We are looking for someone with a quick brain, strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels within and outside the business.

  • Applicants will have a 2:1 degree or higher in a science, economics or mathematical based discipline from a top tier university.
  • Candidates should have 2-4 years experience ideally within a consultancy.
  • Strong organisational skills are a must as is the ability to interpret and selectively share complex ideas and data both internally and with clients.
  • A good knowledge of marketing channels and metrics, particularly digital marketing channels (i.e. PPC, SEO, social media, online display ; eCRM) would be extremely useful.
  • A good grasp of online metrics and KPIs is essential.
  • You will be excited by and flexible enough to take on a demanding and dynamic role within a rapidly-growing organisation
