Project Manager – Western Europe

About the Role

The Project Manager has a key role within the Western Europe region, collaborating with local resources on delivering the regional change portfolio of projects. They are responsible for the design and implementation of the prioritized list of improvement projects across the region. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Be responsible for the successful implementation/delivery of WE projects within the agreed timeframe
  • Translate WE Regional Leadership Team priorities into a list of executable projects
  • Meet the project requirements and hit agreed milestones/deadlines
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, and work with them to identify an optimal approach and outcome
  • Take a hands-on approach to manage project tasks, ensuring deliverables are completed in a timely manner
  • Manage project governance and involve stakeholders in the decision-making process
  • Prepare reports and presentations to Steering Committees as appropriate
  • Identify and coordinate overlaps and interdependencies, risks and issues
  • Manage the project budget and business case through definition and benefit realization

 

About You

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Solid relevant work experience, ideally in a top tier consulting firm and/or a relevant industry
  • Proven track record in driving operational improvements
  • Experience in establishing new operational processes and behaviours through effective change management
  • Experience in running projects autonomously; managing effective plans, governance and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with confidence to engage with people of all levels of seniority
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and team player
  • Excellent problem solving and numerical skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to build robust business cases
  • Lean experience and certification is desired
  • International background and willingness to travel
  • Very strong English skills (written and spoken)
