About INCOPRO

INCOPRO is a fast growing technology company that is experiencing 100% + growth year on year. The business employs over 60 people in London, the US and China. It provides brand protection solutions to major brands and helps them secure a successful digital strategy.

INCOPRO was founded over a coffee in 2012. Co-founders Simon Baggs (CEO and IP protection lawyer) and Bret Boivin (CTO and system architect) are both passionate about IP. They believe that technology has a huge role to play in helping IP businesses to succeed online. They felt that existing technology services for IP were not built from the perspective of IP owners and did not properly focus on delivering the best strategic approaches to IP protection.

The company currently offers the following services to brands across the world:

  • Counterfeit Product Prevention: Identifies networks that sell counterfeit products and their closure
  • Content Intelligence: Track piracy websites and report on the intermediaries that fund them; Monitor and notify websites blocked globally by court order
  • Advertising Intelligence: Detect and prevent harmful placement of digital advertising

The business is experiencing explosive growth and is now being used by a growing number of the world’s leading brands. The company has established several strategic partnerships with businesses and law firms to expand its product range and to increase penetration and to expand into new products and geographies. It has a partnership with Corsearch (owned by Walters Kluwer) that enabled it to expand into America and recently concluded a partnership with Bird ; Bird (one of the top IP law firms globally).

To enable the company to pursue its strategic growth ambitions, we are recruiting a right-hand to the CEO, to help him execute the growth agenda. This is an extraordinary opportunity to have an impact in a fast growing company in the Digital space and for accelerated career development.

Your main responsibilities will be

  • Developing the fundraising pitch to institutional investors, clearly communicating the aggressive growth agenda;
  • Analysing market trends, customer needs and competitors to identify attractive growth opportunities for Incopro’s products and services;
  • Understanding the mechanics of the business and drivers of revenue, cost and margin to develop sales and margin improvement plans;
  • Mapping the markets, geographies and sectors relevant to the company’s current business and its strategic plan and analysing segments and opportunities;
  • Building the business case for specific opportunities by identifying market potential, cost outlay, investment return and funding needs.
  • Developing action plans to operationalise new product development, sales and service support;
    Helping the sales team develop world class sales materials and tools;
    Helping the CEO and Head of Finance to communicate the company’s growth plan to the board and shareholders, and to track progress made vs the plan.

About you

We are looking for a top-tier consultant or investment banker, with 3-5 years’ experience. They will exhibit:

  • Excellent understanding of strategy, market analysis and product strategies
  • Strong financial, analytical and modelling skills
  • Clear communication and presentation abilities and strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, able to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
  • Highly motivated to work on growth strategy and fundraising
  • Masters or MBA qualified
  • Good team player with a bias to action with good business acumen
