About this opportunity

At a super exciting time for KFC following the recent transformation into a more franchised operating model, KFC is looking to revolutionize the growth mindset and performance of the equipment and engineering function in the UK. Your role will provide direction and thought leadership to the global KFC portfolio, based out of successful innovation and implementation in a powerhouse market. This will inevitably provide opportunities for exposure and recognition at a senior level.

You will be responsible for developing a transformational strategy for the KFC “Kitchen of the future” to provide a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

 

Role responsibilities include

Responsibility for the strategy to develop the “Kitchen of the future”, combining equipment innovation, processes, layout and energy efficiency
Lead approval of new equipment and optimization of existing to enhance quality, increase throughput and improve operational standards with a focus on global scalability
Your direct reports will be responsible for: validation protocols, processes and project optimisation; key line equipment supplier management; equipment price list to ensure Brand standard compliance and reduce spend year on year whilst maintaining appropriate SLA’s; Preventive Maintenance of equity estate and wider franchisee adoption

 

Requirements

We’re looking for a hands-on problem-solver who wants to make transformational improvements in the engine room of the business. What you will need is a strategic consulting toolkit, a data-led approach and good project management skills. Our ideal candidate has:

  • Demonstratable operations experience, ideally in a corporate
  • Practical self-starter used to delivering big things to tight deadlines and will be used to demonstrating exceptional leadership behaviours, especially when partnering effectively with internal customers and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for creativity and innovation.
  • Financially astute, with experience of holding budgetary responsibility and the ability to communicate effectively.
