The company advertised on movemeon as they were looking for an (ex)-consultant to manager their strategy and new products division. The successful movemeon member previously worked at McKinsey.

About the role:

  • End to end ownership of the NPD cycle
  • Collaborate with branding and supply chain department to rapidly conceptualize, prototype and market validate new product ideas and innovations
  • Lead supplier selection and negotiations covering the procurement of products and services

Responsibilities

  • End to end ownership of the NPD cycle
  • Collaborate with branding and supply chain department to rapidly conceptualize, prototype and market validate new product ideas and innovations
  • Lead supplier selection and negotiations covering the procurement of products and services
  • Act as a GM for this specific product/vertical by being responsible for managing both the revenue and cost elements
  • Drive product development by understanding customer requirements

Requirements

  • More than 3 years experience in similar role or consulting
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset
  • Ability to qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate alternatives and make compelling recommendations based on solid business case analysis
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Combination of consulting and corporate/startup experience ideal

Salary: £60k-100k, based on experience + stock options
