About the role

  • Develop and deliver improved revenue and profit performance for one or more of our revenue line
  • Report directly into the Chief Commercial Officer and support Commercial Directors for our Residential, Non-Residential, Services, and Workplace Recovery businesse
  • Hands-on commercial role with real p&l responsibility
  • Assist senior management with building business cases, researching market landscapes and companie
  • Opportunistically work on negotiating commercial partnership contracts and project managing resulting activities with telco, hardware and online partners
  • Play a key role in managing relationships with partners on an on-going basis

We are looking for a smart, self-motivated ambitious individuals looking for broad exposure to the workings of a fast growing consumer internet company. Responsibilities

This role is based in Dubai in Saltside’s central hub reporting into the Chief Strategy Officer and supporting the CEO and Senior Management. Saltside’s central team supports the local geographies with best practice, business development assistance and project management expertise where necessary.

We also identify new product opportunities or new territories, special projects and opportunistic M&A – you will be working on all these things.

  • Assist senior management with building business cases, researching market landscapes and companies
  • Opportunistically working on a negotiating commercial partnership contracts and project managing resulting activities with telco, hardware and online partners
  • Play a key role in managing relationships with partners on an on-going basis
  • Market research, project management, some commercial negotiation
  • Work together with multiple teams across marketing, finance and technology to execute partnerships.

Your Profile

  • You have a background in Corporate/Business Development, Investment Banking or Consulting
  • You have 2-5 years experience
  • You are looking for a change and some operational experience
  • You have excellent Excel and PPT skills and know how to present your ideas and conclusions.
  • You are not afraid to make decisions
  • You are a natural leader with strong interpersonal and social skills with a proven track record of exceeding onset targets.
  • You are tenacious, ambitious and a great communicator
  • You have a passion for the internet and what it can do for people from all walks of life
  • Ideally you have worked on M&A deals in some capacity although this is not crucial
  • Written and oral fluency English is required
  • You like to travel and have an interest in emerging markets.
