ABOUT THE ROLE:

RE_SET, a London-based strategic innovation and transformation consultancy, is looking for a Transformation Consultant with a business, quantitative and digital background. The focus of the role is to support the Transformation Directors and the co-founders on both lead generation and client projects. The role encompasses the full lifecycle of consulting engagements, from lead generation, initial market scoping, project planning and delivery. The individual will be in a team of seasoned industry veterans and will play a critical role in providing the data and analytical horsepower to deliver innovative solutions in problem-solving for its clients.

You will be responsible for:

  • Generally supporting the Transformation Directors on analytical work required for the team to fulfill its contractual obligations to our clients.
  • Creating and maintaining financial models to either track or forecast client’s financial performance or business plans.
  • Using business intelligence tools to produce client-facing reporting dashboards, typically linked with eCommerce performance.

  • Demonstrated quantitative skills
  • Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills

Responsibilities:

  • Generally supporting the Transformation Directors on analytical work required for the team to fulfil its contractual obligations to our clients.
  • Creating and maintaining financial models to either track or forecast client’s financial performance or business plans.
  • Using business intelligence tools to produce client-facing reporting dashboards, typically linked with eCommerce performance.
  • Keeping the team informed of market trends, industry news, and technical tools that are relevant to RE_SET sectors and nature of work.
  • Maintaining the company’s information database and encouraging its use within the team.
  • Be part of the team in advising clients on topics that are of relevance and benefit.
  • Participating in and facilitating workshops with clients.
  • Contributing to governance and stakeholders management.
  • Performing duties that are necessary for the team and company in fulfilling contractual obligations to its clients including (but not limited to) market research, competitive analysis, strategy, financial modelling, analytics reporting, project management and associated activities.
  • Putting together pitches or project delivery presentations.
  • Participating in the company’s communications and PR activities, including writing articles or designing and uploading content for the company’s website and selected social networks.

Requirements:

Experience/educational background

  • Top quartile academic record in any discipline
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills
  • Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit
  • Financial modelling skills (i.e. business plans, DCFs etc.)
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools
  • Programming skills in VBA, R, Python or SQL.
  • Experience in using Google Analytics, Google Docs, Evernote, Dropbox and Tableau
  • A keen interest in the developments and trends in technology, digital, and innovation
