About the role

We have embarked on an ambitious strategic transformation. We are looking for a freelance consultant for 6 months work starting from 24th / 31st July. You’ll be working directly for the Director of Transformation – who is a member of the Exec Team and former Consultant. Your main goal will be to drive labour efficiency across our businesses (and from time to time assisting in other areas of the transformation programme). This is a role that will suit someone who is affable, energetic and enjoys working with a whole variety of stakeholders.

  • Great stakeholder management; this role will require you to work effectively right across the business with stakeholders/employees of all levels
  • The ability to understand, evaluate and influence operational processes

  • The ability to work with large amounts of data
  • The ability to learn new systems quickly (we use 2 systems – “Team Hours” and “Go!” to manage labour – more on this below)
  • Experience on transformation project(s) and working right across a business is advantageous
  • Day rate between £300-400
  • Available to start towards the end of July / early August (ideally 24th or 31st July) for a 6-month project (some holiday permissible of course!) in Central London (accommodation is not provided so local candidates are preferred)
  • Existing working rights for the UK
  • Experience in the hospitality sector is helpful but not required

Team Hours

  • Work with the Transformation Director and operations team to identify and deliver initiatives to improve Team Hours use (site behaviour) and effectiveness (system)
  • Conduct analysis and investigation to help identify opportunities and fix issues
  • Manage the ongoing development of the Team Hours system in conjunction with the IT team
  • Liaise with external systems partners
  • Update & maintain a labour dashboard and other critical operational reporting

 

“Go! Technology”

  • Work with the Transformation Director and operations teams to identify and deliver initiatives to optimise the benefits of TRG’s recent major technology change programme
  • Conduct analysis and investigation to help identify opportunities and fix issues
  • Manage any systems development required in conjunction with the IT team
