Disney - Director, Consumer Strategy & Business Development
Shape the future of Disney+ in EMEA | Senior leadership role | Hybrid in London | 12-month FTC
Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) video entertainment service, offering premium branded content across six key brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star). The platform delivers world-class storytelling and general entertainment to families and adults alike, accessible across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
Organic Development
- Lead strategic and financial analysis of growth opportunities
- Review local market business plans for strategic alignment
Strategy & Planning
- Drive the annual strategic business review and five-year planning
- Monitor and analyse key consumer and competitor trends
Partnerships & Licensing
- Evaluate major partnerships with streaming services and distributors
- Assess opportunities with content producers and for rights acquisition
Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years in Strategy/BD in the media & entertainment sector (consulting and/or in-house)
- Experience working across multiple geographies with senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact strategic projects
- Experience managing and developing teams
Personal Attributes:
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident working across stakeholders and in fast-paced environments
- Fluent in English
Offer Details:
- Hybrid: 4 days/week in-office (Hammersmith, London), 1 day from home
- Contract: 12-month fixed-term, full-time
- Compensation: Competitive (details TBC)
