FTSE250 Company - Freelance Strategic Projects Manager

About the company

Our client was a global, high profile FTSE 250 firm. As part of their growth plan they were searching for an independent consultant to undertake a 2-4 month project, looking for a talented consultant to work directly with their VP's to manage, co-ordinate and deliver multiple projects vital to the next 12 months, and impact long term strategy.

Job requirements

• Own the PMO and delivery of multiple high profile strategic initiatives
• Co-ordinate and prioritise multiple projects and work closely with senior leadership to ensure timely delivery
• Support teams with ad hoc strategic support to build narrative to present to senior leadership

The candidate

• 5 years strategy consulting with a top-tier international firm, part of the industry leading Global Consumer Goods & Retail Strategy team, delivering strategic recommendations to C-Suite leadership at FTSE 100 and S&P companies.
  • Functional expertise across:
    • Commercial Growth Strategy
    • Cost Reduction Strategy
    • Operating Model Design
    • Digital Transformation
  • 5 years of experience in senior strategy roles at an international NASDAQ listed travel-technology business, operating initially within the CEO Office as a member of the Strategic Delivery & Transformation team, later promoted to Director, Head of Planning Operations & Transformation.
    • Developed in-house experience leading across the following:
      • Program & Portfolio Management
      • Transformation & Change Management
      • Strategic Planning & CEO Support
