Confidential Company - VP Portfolio Operations / Value Creation

We are working with a PE fund who are looking for a VP operations / value creation to lead value creation initiatives at their portfolio companies. The candidate will act almost as a chief of staff embedded at a portco for 12-18 months at a time.

Responsibilities likely to include:

• Strategic Oversight: Lead the development and execution of value creation strategies for portfolio companies.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough performance assessments to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with portco management teams and PE firm stakeholders to align operational improvements with strategic goals.
• Market Research: Conduct industry research to inform investment strategies and identify potential market trends.
• Change Management: Guide portfolio companies through transformation initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
• Reporting & Metrics: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track value creation progress and report to the investment committee.

The candidate will spend a significant amount of time on-site embedded into the portco and will need to have a flexible schedule.
