International Fashion Retail Group - Freelance Transformation Manager

About the company

• Our client, an International Retail Fashion Group, was running a 360 transformation program and looking for an ex-strategy consultant to act as project Manager. The transformation was an end-to-end transformation project with multiple workstreams, ie. warehouse, data, client-facing (CRM, omnichannel). The consultant would lead the overall ownership of the PMO and report transformation progress to the Operation Director.

Job requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in strategy & transformation roles, with at least 2+ years in consulting
• Experience in Retail and eCommerce sectors
• Fluent in French

The candidate

• Early career experience in Project Management and Business Analyst roles for international retail companies such as L’Oréal. 
• 5 years of strategy consulting experience at Bain, developing deep specialist expertise in the Retail and Consumer Goods sectors, leading projects across Corporate Strategy, Operating Model Design, Market Analysis, and Due Diligence. 
• Fluent in French
• Joined the client on a permanent basis following the conclusion of their Freelance engagement, taking on a role as Head of Digital Transformation. 
  
  • Went on to define the Digital Transformation roadmap and managed projects for the 3 main brands within the group.
  • Led creation of a new department tasked with boosting customer engagement and brand consideration on all digital touchpoints
