We are working with a multinational and global player in the metals & minerals manufacturing industry who is seeking a Director, Global Strategy and Business Development.

Key Responsibilities Likely To Include:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement corporate strategies to drive global growth, market expansion, and competitive positioning.
• Business Development: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate high-value partnerships, acquisitions, and joint ventures to enhance the company's market reach.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
• Commercial Execution: Develop go-to-market strategies for new products, services, or market segments, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Financial Modeling & ROI Analysis: Assess potential investments, partnerships, and growth opportunities with detailed financial analysis and business case development.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and make data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or corporate development roles, preferably in Metals & Mining.
• Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and market expansion efforts.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in financial modeling, M&A, and ROI-driven decision-making.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environments.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
