Financial Business Analyst

We're looking for a Financial Business Analyst to join the wider Business Finance team  - which sits at the heart of strategic planning and decision making within the company. This role reports directly to the CFO, with significant leadership exposure into the Board.

Currently the wider Business Finance team has around 8 people across London and Rotterdam, with expertise in FP&A, pricing, forecasting and dashboards. We're looking for someone with a strategic skillset to come in and support analysis across the team, pulling together financial data, analysis and insight in support of the Board's agenda, as well as to help further strategic projects.

We would like this person to be in the office (London or Rotterdam) 2 days/week

What you'll be doing

This person will provide financial analysis on priority topics and provide high-quality input to strategic decision making by the Executive Team, Board of Directors and other key Leadership. Specifically, they will:

• Support Leadership agenda by providing financial analysis for strategic decision-making, pulling together internal and external data together, analysing and forming insights that will support decision making;
• Make presentations based on findings/insights and present to stakeholders to support the decision-making process within the Company.
• Work together with Analysts from other teams to create a dataset for performance management, monitoring progress against objectives and for continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

We're looking for candidates with 3-5 years consulting experience looking to move into industry. We're open to those who have already moved into industry also. Specifically, 

• Passionate about driving business growth and to improve business performance.
• 3+ years business analyst or financial analyst experience within consulting
• Excellent knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with other products such as PowerBI and Qlikview;
• Excellent written and verbal communication - being able to interpret the request and transform the numbers in an understandable form, as well as presenting the findings
